Colorectal cancer is the world’s third most common type. Unfortunately, it is getting more common among younger people, and we still have 1.4 million new cases each year, with a several-billion-dollar screening market only in the US. Besides regular screenings, people usually get tested when they experience certain symptoms, such as blood in stool or pain, but that happens towards later stages. Therefore, late detection occurs in almost 60% of all cases of colorectal cancer.
Clinicai has developed a toilet monitor for detecting colorectal cancer starting from Stage 0. Our monitor can go on any toilet; it is a small, snap-on device that connects to a cell phone and shares the toilet monitor data with the user. The reports can also be shared with a physician.
